Calligraphy design is laser-etched at 1000 dpi in 100% renewable resource red rubber and encased in post-consumer recycled plastic.
VLH will send digital proofs within 10 business days. Once design is confirmed, stamp will ship out within 2-3 business days.
Stamping tips from the manufacturer:
While stamps are amazing and can do a great many things, they are only stamps and not a replacement for a print-quality impression. Rubber is a natural material. With their handmade, unique nature, stamp impressions will be imperfect, rustic, and organic. These handcrafted and distinct variations are to be expected and celebrated. Impressions will vary with each design, surface material, ink, and individual stamping technique.
A "not enough ink" scenario can occur when:
repeated impressions are made in quick succession
the surface stamped is more absorbent (kraft paper, non-standard paper, porous surfaces like wood, etc)
stamp just out of the mail/cold envelope, ink will temporarily have higher viscosity thus slower to reabsorb for next impression
stamp has not been stored upright (e.g. in a drawer), ink has migrated to one side or other
stamp is being used over edges, creases, or folds
ink is running low which shouldn't be the case at all here.
Pro tip:
If a self-inking stamp is tugged very slightly at the base, the rubber will be pushed further into the internal ink pad and hasten reabsorption. Holding the impression down for several seconds will also disburse more ink.
